Refunds
A test is one attempt, and buying it is final. The exception is us: if our systems are the reason you could not sit or finish it, you get the attempt back or your money back.

What you are buying
A test purchase is one attempt at one test. It does not expire, and you choose when to start it. Nothing is charged again unless you buy another attempt.
Every lesson, challenge and article on the site is free to read, and always will be. You never need to buy anything to learn here — a test exists to certify what you already know.
Before you start: no refunds
Because you can see the full syllabus, the length, the pass mark and a practice paper before paying, purchases are final. We do not refund unstarted attempts or changes of mind.
An unstarted attempt never expires, so nothing is lost by waiting until you are ready — buying now and sitting the paper in three months is fine, and there is only one paper to buy, so there is no wrong one to pick.
Once you start: still no refunds
Starting a test uses the attempt, whatever happens next. Failing is not grounds for a refund — a test you could not fail would certify nothing, and the result stays private unless you choose to share it.
You may retake a test by buying another attempt. There is no limit and no waiting period.
When your side goes wrong
Your connection dropping, your browser crashing, your laptop dying or your power going out does not end your attempt. The test is timed on our servers and your answers are saved as you go, so you can sign back in on any device and carry on where you left off.
What you cannot get back is the time. The clock keeps running while you are away, because a pausable clock on a take-at-home test is not a test. Plan for a stable few hours before you start.
When our side goes wrong
This is the part we stand behind. If the reason you could not sit or finish your test is ours, you get the attempt restored at no cost, or a full refund if you would rather not sit it again. That covers:
- The site being down or unreachable when you tried to start.
- The test failing to load, or loading incomplete or broken questions.
- Answers you had saved not being there when you returned.
- The timer running wrong, or the test ending before its time was up.
- A submitted test not being marked, or being marked incorrectly.
You do not have to prove any of this. We keep server-side records of every attempt, so tell us roughly when it happened and we will check.
How to ask
Email hi@anishl.dev from the address on your account, within 14 days of the attempt, and say what happened. We aim to reply within three working days.
Approved refunds go back to the card or account you paid from, in the currency you paid. Your bank decides how quickly it appears — typically five to ten working days.
Please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and locks the account while it runs; an email usually settles it the same week.
